​​​The Riga National Zoo is open to visitors all year round. At any time of a year you will find it interesting:
Spring -  is the time of awakening of the animals, it’s time for songs and mating dances, things are humming everywhere.
Summer – the most babies are born.
Autumn – a grown younger generation enters adulthood.
Winter - you can get great pleasure from a leisurely study of the inhabitants of the Tropical House, Aquarium, Terrarium and other interesting exhibits.
To date the Zoo covers an area of about 20 hectares. Its collection is comprised of 430 animal species – RIGA ZOO in total there are about 3000 species.
